Komplikasi post odontektomi gigi molar ketiga rahang bawah impaksi

Background: Lower third molar teeth had interference in eruption frequently like impaction. Odontectomy often causes pain, trismus and swelling. Purpose: The aim of this study is to compare percentage of complication after odontectomy lower third molar based on sex, age and a level of difficulty, also the most common complication. Methods: Study design used analytic observational, data gathered from subjective and objective examination after odontectomy in oral surgery department FKG Jember University. Result: From 63 patients, the complication after odontectomy lower third molar impacted more fragile in woman than man, age group 20-21 years old and moderate difficulty level. Conclusion:The most common complication after odontectomy is swelling with trismus.
