7th FDI IDA JOINT MEETING & SEMARANG DENTAL EXHIBITION

The 7th FDI-IDA Joint Meeting and Semarang Dental Exhibition will be held in Gumaya Tower Hotel, Semarang, on November 12-13, 2011 under the main theme: New Horizons in Indonesian Oral Health Care. The FDI-IDA Joint Meeting is a yearly joint scientific event organized by the FDI-World Dental Federation in corporation with the Indonesian Dental Association (IDA / PDGI).

 The program proper of the conference will be: Main Lectures, Table clinics / Hands-on Courses, Oral/ short presentations, Poster Presentations, Best Paper Awards, and Dental Trade Exhibition.  The participant will be granted 7 SKP (CPE credit) accredited by Indonesian Dental Association (IDA/PDGI) that could be used for fulfilling the requirement of next recertification period.

 Main Lectures

The conference will offer innovative multidisciplinary scientific lectures in which prominent international and local speakers will discuss the latest evidence based approaches to using available sciences and technologies to tackle today's dental challenges.  The main speakers and topics include:

~ Dr Edward Chia Kian Heng (Singapore): An update on management strategies of dentine hypersensitivity

~ Dr Herve Tassery (French): A New Fluorescence Device for Caries Diagnosis and Minimally Invasive Treatment

 ~ Dr Ricardo Mitrani (Mexico): The Quest for Optimal Restorative Aesthetics

~ Dr Moises Fleitman (Mexico): Cosmetic Dentistry

 

Table clinics / Hands-on Courses

A range of table clinics / hands-on dental courses will be designed and delivered by many experts that will help you to develop your skills and clinical practice.

 Oral/short presentations and Poster Presentations

Oral/short presentations and poster Presentations will be an important part of this event and an ideal opportunity for dental professionals and post graduate students to participate. The scientific committee will accept applications for oral/short presentations and posters presentations until we reach capacity, so the sooner we receive your application, the better.

 Best Paper Awards

The Scientific Committee of the 7th FDI-IDA Joint Meeting will select the submitted papers (Research Report, Case Study, and Literature Study) for the Best Paper Awards.
